DELPHOS — Columbus Grove collected the girls high school title before storms forced the cancellation of the remainder of Saturday’s Blue Jay Invitational at Stadium Park.
The Bulldogs finished with 50 points followed by Lincolnview (75), New Bremen (80), Delphos St. John’s 95, Anna (129), Van Wert (140), Spencerville (189), Antwerp (204) and Bath (238).
Van Wert’s Caylee Phillips was the race winner in 19 minutes, 26 seconds. Columbus Grove’s Alyssa Ellerbrock (second), Erin Downing (third) and Leanndra Price (fifth) all finished in the top five. Lincolnview’s Madison Langdon was fourth.
CELINA — Storms forced the cancellation of the event at the Wright State University Lake Campus. Head 8C to view photos of the girls race before it was halted.
BRECKSVILLE — Lima Central Catholic finished runner-up to Shelby in the 15-team Independence Blue Devil Invitational at the par 72 Seneca Golf Club.
Erin Mulcahy (79), Mary Kelly Mulcahy (81), Meghan Mulcahy (86) and Emma Mayers (97) contributed to the Thunderbirds’ 343, one shot out of first place. Avon Lake (345), Cloverleaf (351) and Garaway (352) rounded out the top five. Jocelyn Troyer of Garaway was medalist with a 74.
Botkins 175, New Knoxville 198
SIDNEY — Botkins’ Nick Fischio was medalist Friday night with a 1-under 35 at Shelby County Oaks Golf Club. Ray Newton led New Knoxville with a 45.

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — Jacob Miller had two goals and Jack Fraser scored one. Carter Jensen and Cameron Tenwalde each had an assist. Landon Hoehn got the shutout in goal.
Bluffton 7, Mansfield St. Peter’s 1
ELIDA — Jesse Montel had three goals, Taylor Kleman had a pair and teammates Jayden Mays and Isaiah Schwaab each had one in the consolation match of the Elida Kick Off tournament. The score and stats from the Elida will play Toledo Woodmore were not reported by deadline.

MIDDLE POINT — Inclement weather forced the postponement of Saturday’s Lima Central Catholic at Lincolnview match. No makeup date has been determined.
Perry tri match
PERRY TOWNSHIP — Spencerville defeated Perry 25-14, 24-26, 25-13, Ridgemont defeated Perry 25-18, 25-21, 25-9 and Spencerville 21-25, 25-15, 25-13.
Against Perry, Whitney Mulholland had six kills, Emma Hoback had 15 assists and Katelyn Carpenter had 10 digs for Spencerville.
Against Ridgemont, Makenzie Williams had seven kills, Emma Hoback had 16 assists and Katelyn Carpenter had nine digs.
LCC 3, Bath 2
BATH TOWNSHIP — Lima Central Catholic won 26-24, 14-25, 25-13, 18-25, 15-9.
Rosie Williams and Jocelyn Morrisey each had 14 kills, Hannah Reipenhoff had 46 assists and four aces, Kassidy Meyer had 22 digs and Kennedy Parker had 11 kills and three aces for the Thunderbirds (3-0).
Mallory Clark had 14 blocks, Kaleigh Ketcham and Mallory Clark each had 14 kills and Kali Armstrong had 28 digs for Bath.
Leipsic 3, Holgate 0
HOLGATE — Leipsic won 25-10, 25-15, 25-11. Hayley Heitmeyer had 20 kills and three blocks, Selena Loredo had three aces, Lyndie Hazelton had 28 assists and Carlee Siefker had 13 digs for the visiting Vikings.
New Bremen 3, Columbus Grove 0
NEW BREMEN — The Bulldogs fell 25-9, 25-13, 25-14 to the defending Division IV state champs. Angel Snider had four kills, Rylee Sybert have five assists and Amy Vorst had 10 digs for Grove.
Minster wins twice
SIDNEY — Minster defeated host Sidney 25-20, 25-21 and Graham 22-25, 25-16, 28-26.
For the day, Kaitlyn Wolf had five aces, Danielle Barhorst had 15 kills and 27 digs, Brooke Wolf had 26 assists, Ava Sharp had 11 kills and 17 digs and Emily Stubbs had 17 digs for Minster.
ROCKFORD — Elida defeated Hardin Northern 28-26, 22-25, 25-21 and lost to Lima Senior 29-27, 26-24.
In the combined two matches, Cheyenne Welch had 16 kills, Evelyn Frueh had 15 assists and McKenzie Miller had 28 digs.
Celina defeated Hardin Northern 25-18, 25-23 and Delphos Jefferson 25-13, 25-11 and lost to Parkway 25-14, 14-25, 25-20.
Parkway also defeated Elida 25-7, 25-14 and Lima Senior 25-16, 23-25, 25-20.
UNOH wins tourney
For the second straight weekend, the Northwestern Ohio volleyball team has claimed a tournament title as the Racers remain undefeated on the season with two victories Saturday to win the Lancer Classic crown, defeating Lindenwood-Belleville (25-14, 23-25, 25-22, 25-17) before coming from behind to post a five-set decision over Indiana Kokomo (13-25, 18-25, 25-20, 25-20, 15-13).
