BATH TOWNSHIP — Singles players Esther Bolon, Ruby Bolon and Fayme Ghandi and the doubles teams of

Regan Canter and Emily McNett and Chloe Rieman and Emily Wood all won matches as Bath defeated Elida 5-0 in girls tennis Thursday.

Kenton 3, Celina 2

CELINA — Singles player Mykaela Schriber and the doubles teams of Elizabeth Heintz and Abigail Hartshorn and Abigail Oberlitner and Kayce Sherman won for Kenton.

Singles players Sierra Zuercher and Kaylin Avers won for Celina.

Wapakoneta 5, Van Wert 0

VAN WERT — Singles players Madison Schroeder, Madison Snider and Ellie Schroer and the doubles teams of

DEFIANCE Grant Laudick had Kalida’s goal. Teammate Brayden Recker made five saves in goal.

HARROD — Braelin Houston scored the game’s lone goal on an assist by Bryce Wilcox.

Elida 1, Bluffton 1

ELIDA — The Bulldogs advanced to the Elida Soccer Classic championship by winning a 4-2 shootout.

Bluffton’s Jonathan Shriner and Elida’s Logan Johnson each had a gaol. Elida will play Toledo Woodmore for the tourney title at 7 p.m. Saturday follow the 5 p.m. consolation match between Bluffton and Mansfield St. Peter’s.

WAPAKONETA — Hunter Coffey scored Wapak’s goal on an assist by Noah Kirby.

MILLER CITY — Nelaya Burden had two goals and Kelsey Shaffer and Gillian Goecke each had one. Taylor Hobbs made five saves to earn the shutout in goal.

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — Rachel Russ and Celia Spieles each had a goal and Grace O’Connor got the shutout in goal.

WAPAKONETA — Emily Ruppert had three goals and Abbigail Ruppert, Drew Peachy, Morgan Follin, Ellie Settlage, Corrine Raney and Marisa Raney each had one. Nicole Richard had two saves.

COLDWATER — The Cavaliers won 25-14, 23-25, 25-19, 25-19.

Lauren Gilliland had 24 kills, 13 digs, six block assists and two solo blocks, Katie Alig had three aces and 14 digs, and Annalise Harlamert had 49 assists for Coldwater.

Rilan Conley had 10 kills, Sidney Gossard had 25 assists and Kendal Guagenti had 16 digs for Ada.

LIMA — The Wildkittens won 25-22, 9-25, 25-21, 25-13. Mallory Clark had 10 kills, Eden Adkins had three aces, Caitlyn Renner had 26 assists and Mallory Clark had 13 blocks for Bath. Lima Senior stats were not reported by deadline.

ARLINGTON — The Bulldogs fell 25-16, 20-25, 25-21, 17-25, 15-11. Haley Radabaugh had 14 kills, Rylee Sybert had eight kills, 12 assists and 13 digs and Becca Choi had 18 digs for Grove.

OTTOVILLE — The Big Green won 25-20, 20-25, 29-27, 21-25, 16-14. Brynlee Hanneman had 22 kills and five blocks, Quinley Schlagbaum had three aces, Kylee Hoersten had 51 assists and Sydney Brinkman had 27 digs for Ottoville.

PAYNE — Led by medalist Conner Shirkey’s 36, Bryan won the team title with 163. Lincolnview (164) was second one stroke better than Paulding. Miller City (172) finished fifth. Allen East (177), Fort Jennings (212) and Crestview (221) finished seventh through ninth.

Lincolnview’s Ryan Moody and Jaden Youtsey (39 each), Paulding’s Chad Carper (39), Miller City’s Boyd Vance III 40, Allen East’s Noah Brown (42), Fort Jennings’ Collin Young (50) and Crestview’s Colton Lautenheiser (50) had the low rounds for their respective schools.
