HARROD — Shawnee finished second to Lexington in Tuesday’s Allen East Girls Colonial Golfers Tournament.
Led by medallist Isabelle Jedra’s 78, Lexington finished with a 348 total with Shawnee (385), New Bremen (396), Wapakoneta (413) and Findlay (419) rounding out the top five in the event which had 14 schools post team scores.
Bluffton’s Alivia Koenig was part of a three-way tie for second individually with an 83. New Bremen’s Sarah Parker (85) and Callie Hall (88) finished sixth and seventh respectively. Wapak’s Taylor West (89) was eighth.
Morgan Altenbach (93), Taylor Burgess (96), Jeanna Fullom (97) and Maggie Gray (99) combined for Shawnee’s score.
Allen East’s Kasey Meyer (96), Bath’s Abby Vieira (106), Cassidy Werts (108) of Delphos St. John’s, Leipsic’s Hannah Goede (99), Lincolnview’s Shiann Kraft (101) and Minster’s Taylor Homan and Layne Voisard (95 each) had the low scores for their respective teams.
LCC 181, Celina 224
CELINA — Medalist Meghan Mulcahy (40), Hannah Garver (44), Emma Mayers (48) and Carlie VanMeter (49) combined for the winning score at Celina Lynx Golf Club. Madelynn Sudhoff led Celina with a 48.
BLUFFTON — Medalist Gavin Harmon shot a 3-under 33 for Spencerville at Bluffton Golf Club. Ethan Harmon (40), Alex Gallman (45) and Drake Mertz (46) also contributed to the Bearcats’ winning score of 164. Bluffton finished second at 180 followed by Allen East (184) and Ada (226) in the Northwest Conference event. Bluffton’s Drew Wilson (40), Allen East’s Carter Frey (43) and Ada’s Brevin Sizemore (54) had the low rounds for their respective teams.

LIMA — Medalist Alex Wisser (39), Ross Otto (40), Casey Koenig (44) and Brady Koenig (47) combined for the winning total. Lance Mawer led Celina with a 41.
St. Henry 166, Wapakoneta 183
Medalist Jack Romer (35), Rylee Deitsch (43), Lucas Grieshop (43) and Reed Koesters (45) combined for the winning score. Drew Zwiebel led Wapak with a 41.

VAN WERT — Colton Lautnenheiser led Crestview with a 47 at Hickory Sticks Golf Club.
Houston 183, New Knoxville 203
SIDNEY — Ray Newton and Sam Anspach each shot a 43 to lead New Knoxville at Shelby Oaks Golf Club.

WAPAKONETA — Olivia Kesner, Anna Janowski and Morgan Chaney won singles matches for Lima Central Catholic.
The doubles teams of Casey Minnig and Alyssa Good and Makenzie Schroeder and Mara Stiles won for Wapak.
WAYNESFIELD — Officials at Waynesfield Raceway Park have announced additional schedule changes.
Saturday will be the final “Meet the Drivers” night of the 2018 season. Drivers from the Quest Federal Credit Union Non Wings, Satellite Connections UMP Modifieds, Block Insurance Tough Trucks, and Indian Lake Outfitter Compacts will line the front stretch signing autographs and giving away goodies. In addition, school aged kids that did not receive a backpack or school supplies last weekend will have their opportunity Saturday as more items are set to be given away. Racing is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
The Quest Federal Credit Union Non Wings have been added to the Aug. 25th racing program. The event will now feature all five weekly classes.
Sept. 1st will be a full program of racing with the Indian Lake Outfitter Compacts being added to the program. The event will feature all five weekly classes and serve as the final points race of the year and the final race of the 2018 season.
The Sept. 15th program has been canceled. All points chases will come to an end Sept. 1.
