Two share low score at Lima Junior Golf Association tourney

LIMA — Jacob Black (boys 16-18) and Carson Harmon (boys 14-15) each shot 2-over-par 74s in winning their division at Tuesday’s Lima Junior Golf Association - McDonald’s Junior Series Tamarac Golf Club Open.

Kyle Naumann was second in the boy 16-18 division with a 75 and Adam Ballas was runner-up among boys 14-15 with an 80.

Megan Spainhower shot an 86 to win the girls 16-18 event. Morgan Altenbach was second with a 94.

In the nine-hole par-36 competitions, Parker Judy (45) was first and Chase Beery (46) finished second in the boys 12-13 event. Haylee Wurm was the girls 15 and younger tourney with a 45 followed by Bridget Mulcahy (51). Damon Watson defeated Brevin Brandt in a playoff for the 11 and younger crown after each shot 34.
