SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — The host Indians defeated St. Marys 3-2 Tuesday to clinch the Western Buckeye League boys tennis regular season title outright with a 9-0 league mark.

Singles players Michael Rutter, Isaac Hanover and Jackson Schaaf won for Shawnee. The doubles teams of Andrew Vogel and Mason King and David Keller and Evan Tennant won for St. Marys.

Bluffton 3, Kenton 2

KENTON — Singles players Justin Haggard and Drew Wilson and the doubles team of Eden Nygaard and Grant Klinger won for Bluffton. Singles player Taj Chahal and the doubles team of Cruz Bryant and Andrew Boyer won for Kenton.

Van Wert 4, Bath 1

BATH TOWNSHIP — Singles players Michael Etter, Kannen Wannemacher and Michael Hellman and the doubles team of Storm Pierce and Nathan Ringer won for Van Wert. The doubles team of Caden Schmidt and Gabe Niebel won for Bath.

Ottawa-Glandorf 4,

Lima Central Catholic 1

OTTAWA — Singles players Kevin Recker and Carter Welch and the doubles teams of Zach Balbaugh and Drew Kuhlman and Ben Schaub and Colin Welch won for O-G. Singles player Ben Brinkman won for LCC.

Elida 4, Defiance 1

DEFIANCE — Singles players Tyler Christoff, Sebastian Kunkelman and Daulton Buetner and the doubles team of Jacob Ramirez and Riley Creps won for Elida.

Lima splits

FREMONT — Lima Senior split a doubleheaher with Fremont Ross, winning the opener 7-4 and dropping the second game 18-3.

In the 7-4 win, Ethan Jordan and Ethan Jordan had two hits and RBI each and Caleb Dugan had two hits for the visiting Spartans. In the 18-3 contest, Dugan had two hits and an RBI.

New Bremen 7,

Delphos St. John’s 4

DELPHOS — Ryan Bertke homered, Patrick Wells doubles and had three RBI and Grant Selby had two hits for the visiting Cardinals. Troy Elwer had two doubles, a single and two RBI, Corey Koverman had two hits and an RBI and Devin Cairo had two hits for St. John’s.

Van Wert 10, Bath 4

VAN WERT — Jacke Lautzenheiser, Darius Eddins and James Acquaviva had two hits and two RBI each and TJ Reynolds and Nathan Temple had two hits and an RBI each for Van Wert. Lex Boedicker had two hits and two RBI for Bath.

St. Marys 3, Celina 2

CELINA — Austin Wilker had three hits and two RBI and Trey Fisher had two hits for the visiting Roughriders. Gabe Perry had a hit and two RBI for Celina.

Wayne Trace 8, Delphos Jefferson 7

DELPHOS — Wayne Trace scored twice in the top of the seventh to pull out the victory. Tyler Bratton and Eli Lucas each had two hits for Jefferson.

Elida 10, Shawnee 3

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — Winning pitcher Brayden Lybarger allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out 12 in seven innings. TJ Whipple had five hits and three RBI, Noah Adcock had two hits and three RBI, Luke Burger had two hits and an RBI and Jordan Davis and Josh Howard each had two hits for the visiting Bulldogs.

Logan Maxwell had a hit and an RBI for Shawnee.

Miller City 11, Ottoville 10

OTTOVILLE — Drew Johnston had two home runs, Eli Ellerbrock had a homer and Tyler Schroeder had a double and two singles for Miller City. Logan Kemper had three hits and Nick Moroman and Cooper Hanneman had two hits each for Ottoville.

Liberty Center 19, Leipsic 12

LEIPSIC — Cole Rieman tripled for Leipsic.

Perry 21, Hardin Northern 2

DOLA — Jon Sawyer had four hits, including a home run, and five RBI, Joseph Money had four hits and three RBI, Luke Floyd had four hits and two RBI, Kevin Miller had two hits and four RBI, Louis Hoeasten and Aaron Rush each had two hits and an RBI and Keaton Miller had two hits for Perry. Hoeasten got the win on the mound allowing no earned runs, two hits and three walks while striking out 10 in five innings.

Kalida 11, Allen East 1

KALIDA — Winning pitcher Kevin Hamburg allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks while striking out three in five innings. Hamburg also had two hits and two RBI. Tyler Klausing had tow hits and three RBI, Gabe Hovest had two hits and an RBI, Josh Klausing had a double and tow RBI and Josh Recker had two RBI also for the host Wildcats. Tyler Clum had an RBI for the Mustangs.

Lima Central Catholic 2o, Ada 1

LIMA — Matthew Heider had three hits and four RBI, Rahsy Moore had three hits and three RBI, Derek Jennings had two hits and four RBI, Brendan Stolly had two hits and an RBI, Derek Pignataro had two hits, Brayden O’Dell tripled and had three RBI and Dominic Ripenhoff had a double and two RBI for LCC. Riepenhoff and Pignataro combined to allow two hits and a walk while striking out nine in five innings. Austin Amburgey had a double and an RBI for Ada.

Defiance 15, Wapakoneta 2

WAPAKONETA — Alex Daum had tow hits and an RBI and Grace Jolly had two hits for Wapak.

Allen East 16, Kalida 2

KALIDA — Olivia Lawrence had a home run, two triples and four RBI, Gracie Young had three hits and two RBI, Lakin Basham had two home runs and three RBI and Sydney Miller had two hits for Allen East. Hannah Warn had two hits and two RBI for Kalida.

Bath 9, Van Wert 7

BATH TOWNSHIP — Kali Armstrong had three hits and Riley Iiames had two hits for Bath. Laine Spoor and Grace Kline had two hits each for the visiting Cougars.

LEIPSIC — Jala Hazelton and Heather Lammers had Leipsic’s hits.

MILLER CITY — Winning pitcher Adrienne Kuhlman allowed five hits, five walks and one earned run while striking out eight. Allison Ruhe had two hits and an RBI and Abbey Schroeder and Kylie Berne each had a hit and an RBI for Miller City. Amber Logan had two hits and Kennedy Hiltner had a hit and an RBI for Continental.

LCC 10, Ada 7

LIMA — Ellen Dee had two hits, including a home run, and three RBI and Mary Kate Dee had three hits and three RBI for LCC. Maddie Gossard had two home runs and Sydney Newland had one homer for Ada.
