Bulldog Invitational results


CELINA — Brayden Lybarger had as many hits (two) as he allowed on the mound Friday in Elida’s 3-0 Western Buckeye League baseball victory against Celina.

Lybarger also allowed two walks and struck out nine in seven innings.

Noah Adcock had three hits and a stolen base, Max Parker had two hits and TJ Whipple had a triple and two RBI for Elida.

Moeller and Stein had Celina’s hits.

Ottawa-Glandorf 4, Bath 3

GLANDORF — Grant Fuerst knocked in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh. Ethan White tripled and Logan Miller doubled for O-G. Isaiah Bolon and Hunter Iiames each had two hits for Bath.

St. Marys 8, Van Wert 7

ST. MARYS — The Roughriders took the lead for good in the sixth inning when Wyatt Bailey, who had two hits and an RBI, singled in Drew Jacobs. Braeden Dunlap had a home run, double and two RBI and Austin Wilker had a double, two singles and two RBI for St. Marys. Jalen McCracken had a hit and two RBI and James Acquaviva had a hit and an RBI for the Cougars.

Crestview 2, Parkway 0

CONVOY — Winning pitcher Riley Saylor allowed five hits and no walks while striking out four in seven innings. He also had a pair of hits. Charles Stefanek had a hit and an RBI for Crestview. Jack Wehe had a hit and a stolen base for Parkway.

Allen East 18,

Waynesfield-Goshen 5

HARROD — Cole Fletcher had a triple, a double, a single and two RBI and Dalton Clum had a double, two singles and three RBI for the host Mustangs.

Miller City 4, Montpelier 1

MILLER CITY — Winning pitcher Chase Kuhlman allowed two hits and walked five while striking out nine in 6 2/3 innings. He also doubled.

DELPHOS — The following Jefferson home games have been rescheduled: Riverdale (one game), noon, April 28, Miller City, May 4, Delphos St. John’s, May 14.

Celina 12, Elida 9

ELIDA — Emily Keith had a triple, a double and single, Sydney Wilker had a home run, a double and two RBI, Maddy Luebke had two doubles and two RBI and Bailey Laux had a double and a single for Celina. Addie Miller had a double, a single and two RBI, Kori Baker had two hits and an RBI and Erika Suever had two hits for Elida.

Leipsic 20, Vanlue 3

VANLUE — Heather Lammers had two hits, including a home run, and four RBI, Bailee Sickmiller had a triple, a single and two RBI, Courtney Amrine had two hits and Jala Hazelton doubled and had two RBI for the visiting Vikings.

Allen East 14,

Waynesfield-Goshen 4

HARROD — Chloe Lawrence had two hits and two RBI, Summer McClusky had two doubles and an RBI and Gracie Young had a hit and two RBI for the host Mustangs. Aubrey Biederman had a double and three RBI for W-G.

Parkway 11, Lincolnview 1

MIDDLE POINT — Macy Henkle was the winning pitcher. Bailey Strickler had a double, three singles and three RBI, Haley Hawk had two doubles, a single and two RBI and McKenna Temple had two hits and two RBI for Parkway (6-1).

Patrick Henry 14, Miller City 3

HAMLER — Makenna Lehman had three hits and an RBI and Abigail Schroeder had two hits and two RBI for Miller City.

Minster 9, Spencerville 5

SPENCERVILLE — Emily Stubbs homered and Taylor Homan doubled for Minster. Kara May hit a home run and Baily Swartz had a double for the host Bearcats.

Ottawa-Glandorf 5, Bath 0

BATH TOWNSHIP — Singles players Craig Recker, Kevin Recker and Carter Welch and the doubles teams of Zach Balbaugh and Drew Kuhlman and Ben Schaub and Colin Welch all won matches.

Shawnee 4, Wapakoneta 1

WAPAKONETA — Singles players Michael Rutter, Isaac Hanover and Jackson Schaaf and the doubles team of Harsha Battula and Carter Schaaf won for Shawnee. The Wapak doubles team of Austin Hancock and Noah Kirby won their match.

St. Marys 5, Van Wert 0

VAN WERT — Singles players Marcel Lansing, Howie Spencer and CJ Vanderhorst and the doubles teams of Andrew Vogel and David Keller and Mason King and Evan Tennant all won matches.

Celina 3, Elida 2

ELIDA — Singles players Bryce Langenkamp, Kyle Lochtefeld and Collin Harris all won matches for Celina. The doubles teams of Jared Ramirez and Nathan Smith and Jacob Ramirez and Riley Creps won for Elida.

Bulldog Invitational

COLUMBUS GROVE — The hosts won the girls team title with 163 points followed by Anna (63), Botkins (59), Arlington (57), Delphos St. John’s (47), Paulding (40), Riverdale (27), Delphos Jefferson (23), Ada (17), Ottoville (13), McComb (12) and Fort Jennings (6).

Anna was the boys winner with 138 points followed by McComb (80), Columbus Grove (76.5), Ottoville (45), Ada (41), Riverdale (36), Jefferson (31), Arlington (25), St. John’s (23), Paulding (16.5), Botkins (9) and Fort Jennings (6).

ORCC event

HAMILTON — OSU Lima/Rhodes State finished second out of eight teams at the par 72 Twin Run Golf Course with a total of 342. Miami-Hamilton was the team winner with 313 total. Shawnee graduate Collin Rambin had the low round for OSU Lima with a 82 for seventh overall. James Leisinger of Miami-Hamilton was medalist with 74. Paulding grad Shane Lumpkins shot an 85 (eighth overall) and Austin Lammers shot an 86 (ninth overall) also for OSU Lima. OSU Lima remains second second in the conference.
