LIMA — The Ohio State Lima/Rhodes State men’s basketball defeated Sinclair Community College at home for the time since 1973 Tuesday night.

Elijah Fabyan had 27 points and Elijah Willis scored 22 for the 5-5 Barons in the 88-78 victory.

Boys basketball

Allen East 49, Ridgemont 47

HARROD — The Mustangs hung on after leading 33-29 heading into the final period. Allen East’s Tyler Clum (14), Bradden Crumrine (12) and Devin Reed (10) and Ridgemont’s Ethan Mouser (17), Jayden Streets (12) and Jordan Streets (10) all scored in double digits.

Parkway 91, Temple Christian 47

ROCKFORD — The host Panthers went from an 18-8 first-quarter lead to a 36-18 halftime margin. Mason Baxter had 24 points, Caleb Kinney scored 23 and Justin Rice had nine points and nine rebounds for Parkway. Brody Bowman and Noah Howell each had 19 points for the Pioneers.

Kenton 49, Benjamin Logan 45

BELLEFONTAINE — The visiting Wildcats hung on after seeing their 29-15 halftime lead shrink to 39-35 at the end of the third quarter. Jaron Sharp had 21 points and Landon Rush scored 13 for Kenton (3-1).

Mississinawa Valley 50, New Bremen 49

UNION CITY — Mississinawa Valley won on a 3-point basket by Ethan Bowman at the buzzer.

ELIDA — Alena Looser had 12 points and Kayla Schimmoeller scored 11 for the visiting Lancers. S Shyah Wheeler had 14 points for Elida.

Columbus Grove 54, Patrick Henry 38

COLUMBUS GROVE — The host Bulldogs steadily built on a 14-8 first-quarter lead, holding a 43-26 advantage after three periods. Carlee McCluer had 16 points, Angel Schneider had 10 points and nine rebounds and Lauren Schroeder had nine points and five steals for Grove (2-3).

Wapakoneta 45, Marion Local 38

WAPAKONETA — Lexi Jacobs had 18 points and Makenzie Wilson scored 14 for the host Redskins. Natalie Rethman had 20 points and Heidi Rethman scored 10 for the Flyers.

Liberty-Benton 68, Shawnee 42

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — The host Indians were unable to recover from a 24-13 first quarter deficit. Alissa Stahler had 19 points and Trinity Gearing scored eight for Shawnee.

Delphos Jefferson 53, Cory-Rawson 30

RAWSON — Jefferson built a 24-5 lead by the end of the first quarter. Addy Stewart and Macy Wallace each had 12 points and Sarah Miller scored nine for the visiting Wildcats. Zoe Chisholm had 10 points and Sarah Curth had six points and six rebounds for C-R.

Riverdale 60, Ada 43

ADA — The host Bulldogs saw their 13-6 first-quarter advantage vanish as Riverdale outscored Ada 21-1 in the second period for a 27-14 halftime lead. Maddie Gossard had 15 points and Anney Archer scored 14 for the Bulldogs (1-3).

MIDDLE POINT — The Lincolnview Local Schools will be celebrating the 55th anniversary of the 1962 state baseball championship team Saturday between the JV and varsity boys basketball game against Wayne Trace. The JV game will begin at 6 p.m. with the ceremony occurring around 7 p.m.
