Led by medalist Kyle Naumann’s 74, St. Henry won the team title with a score of 317 with Minster (351), Delphos St. John’s (355), Versailles (356) and Coldwater (361) rounding out the top five in the 10-team Midwest Athletic Conference tournament Saturday at the par 72 Mercer County Elks.
Jack Romer (77), Rylee Deitsch (79) and Ryan Grieshop and Reed Koesters (87 each) also contribute to the Redskins’ winning score. Romer and Deitsch had the second and third best rounds of the day respectively.
Coldwater’s Adam Fisher (83), Versailles’ Connor Van Skyrock (83), Fort Recovery’s Harrison Kaup (85), DSJ’s Grant Csukker (85), Minster’s Grant Voisard (85), Coldwater’s Trey Wolters, Parkway’s Jack Wehe (86) and Minster’s Grant Koenig (86) also finished in the top 10 individually.
St. Henry, which went 9-0 in the conference in dual matches, won the overall MAC title with DSJ finishing second.
Naumann earned player of the year honors and was joined on the all-MAC first team by Van Skyock, Kaup (Fort Recovery), Adam Gerker (Delphos St. John), Fisher, Csukker, Deitsch, Romer, Mason Baxter (Parkway), Voisard, Wolters and Greishop.
Allen East Invitational
FINDLAY — Bath won the 12-team event at Sycamore Springs with a team score of 341 with Carey (349), Upper Scioto Valley (369), Ottawa-Glandorf (372) and Bluffton (379) rounding out the top five.
Carey’s Marcus Miller was medalist with a 76 with Bluffton’s Aaron Belcher (77), O-G’s Austin Radcliff (80), USV’s Brady Hipsher (80) and Bath’s Jeremiah Bolon (82) also finishing in the top five. Isaiah Bolen (84) and Joey Miller (86), who finished seventh and eighth respectively, and Hunter Iiames (89), who was 12th overall, also contributed to Bath’s winning score. Waynesfield-Goshen’s Kaden Maxwell tied Miller for eighth place.
Allen East’s Grant Whitley (94), Leipsic’s Mason Tadena and Jaden Seifker (105 each) and Lima Senior’s Latrelle Moore (97) had the low scores for their respective schools. Temple Christian’s Lincoln Waters shot a 92 playing as an individual.

FINDLAY — Notre Dame Academy (313) won the team title at Sycamore Springs followed by Bellefontaine (376), Bloom-Carroll (410) and Bluffton (411) with Allen East and Lexington tieing for fifth (448).
Notre Dame’s Grace Durfey was medalist with a 75. Bluffton’s Alivia Koenig shot an 86 to tie for the fifth lowest score. Kasey Meyer led Allen East with a 101.
Versailles wont the team title with a 365 score with St. Henry (397), New Bremen (416), Parkway (420) and Coldwater (458) rounding out the top five. Ellen Naumann and Karlee Staugler each shot 94 to lead St. Henry. Emma Eckstein led Coldwater with a 107.
Grove wins 2
COLUMBUS GROVE — The host Bulldogs defeated McComb 25-27, 25-14, 25-17 and Patrick Henry 23-25, 25-22, 25-17 to improve to 10-3 on the season.
RAWSON — Temple Christian fell 25-11, 25-13 to Willard and defeated Cory-Rawson 25-23, 19-25, 25-13.
MINSTER — Ada defeated Botkins 25-13, 25-15, lost 25-18, 25-21 to Minster and fell 25-14, 25-16 to Russia. Minster also defeated Marion Pleasant 25-21, 25-22 and West Liberty Salem 25-10, 25-21.
Delphos St. John’s 3,
KALIDA — The Blue Jays won 25-20, 23-25, 25-23, 25-16. Madi Ellis had 23 kills, 27 digs and 12 blocks and Ellie Csukker had 24 assists for DSJ. Morgan Mock had 12 kills, Sarah Klausing had 33 assists and Kierstan Siebeneck had 23 digs for Kalida.

Kevin Samons made 12 saves for Lima Senior. Elida’s goal scorers and goalie information were not reported by deadline.

COLUMBUS — Alyissa Shoemaker scored the only goal on an assist by Sophie Simon in a match played at MAPFRE Stadium, home of Major League Soccer’s Crew. Bailey White made three saves in securing the shutout in goal. Kalida goalie Hannah Bixler made five saves.
