HARROD — Jake Hutchins’ 78 led the way as Shawnee claimed Tuesday’s Allen East/Colonial Golfers Club boys golf tournament Tuesday.

Justin Behnke (81), John Barker (83) and Soloman Smith (84) also contributed to the Indians’ team total of 326.

Kalida finished second with a 331 total followed by Defiance (335). Spencerville and Liberty-Benton tied for fourth at 337.

Perry’s Logan Dray won a scorecard playoff against Spencerville’s Gavin Harmon and Carey’s Marcus Miller for medalist honors after each shot 75.

Kalida’s Christian Nartker (76), Ethan Harmon (76), Bluffton’s Aaron Belcher (77), Kalida’s Josh Recker (81) and Upper Scioto Valley’s Brady Hipsher (81) also had scores that put them among the top 10 individually. Bath’s Hunter Iiames (84), Elida’s Logan Long (90), Allen East’s Grant Whitley (83) and Lima Senior’s Latrell Moore (93) had the low scores for their respective teams.

Mercer County Tournament

CELINA — Medalist Kyle Naumann led St. Henry to the team title at Celina Lynx Golf Club. Naumann finished with a 72.

Jack Romer (81), Seth King (92) and Rylee Deitsch and Ryan Grieshop (94 each) helped St. Henry claim the team title with a score of 339.

Coldwater finished second with a score of 385 with Andrew Fisher leading the way with a 92.

Parkway’s Mason Baxter (93), Fort Recovery’s Grant Knapke (94), Marion Local’s Seth Kelch (114) and Celina’s Nate Langenkamp (86) had the low rounds for their respective schools.

Cardinal Invitational

MINSTER — Logan Miller led the way for team champ Wapakoneta with a medalist score of 76 at Arrowhead Golf Club.

Tanner Sweede (83), Drew Zwiebel (85) and Dylan Timmerman (85) also were part of Wapak’s team total of 329.

Minster finished third with a team total of 344.

Minster’s Adam Knapke (85), St. Marys’ Jill Schmitmeyer (82), Jackson Center’s Bryce Sosby (91), New Bremen’s Tyler Leichliter (97), New Knoxville’s Rey Newton (95) and Botkins’ Nick Fischio (84) had the low scores for their respective teams.

Quad Meet

VAN WERT — Paulding had the low team score of 174 followed by Lincolnview (188), Columbus Grove (190) and Crestview (192) at Hickory Sticks Golf CluB.

Paulding Cade McGarvey earned medalist honors with a 42. Lincolnview’s Reece Farmer (46), Columbus Grove’s Jacob Oglesbee and Zach Roberts (44 each) and Crestview’s Cade Hurless (45) had the low rounds for their respective schools.

Girls Golf

Bluffton 208, Leipsic 244

Bluffton’s Alivia Koening was medalist with a 43. Kennedy Coughlan and Mara Minnig (53 each) and Morgan Auchmuty (59) also contributed to Bluffton’s winning score. Hannah Goedde led Leipsic with a 55.

St. Henry 195,

Delphos St. John’s 264

Ellen Naumann 39, Karlee Staugler 49, Allyson Hemmelgarn 51, Elizabeth Rockwell 56 teamed up for St. Henry’s winning score at the Mercer County Elks. Scores for St. John’s had not been reported by deadline.
