ARCHERY

Allen County: The Allen County Archers hold traditional 3-D shoots the third Saturday of the month all year long, weather permitting. They are open to all archery equipment. The Archers hold a “stump shoot” for traditional bows only the fourth Saturday of each month, weather permitting. Leipsic: An R100 national archery shoot is scheduled June 23, 24 and 25 at Leipsic Hunting and Fishing, 10605 Road H, Ottawa 45875. Registration is available online at R100.org and also is available on the days of the competition. According to the website, the cost for pre-registration for the R100 ranges are $60 for adults, $25 for youth and $15 for cubs. The day of the event the cost will be $70, $35 and $20. For the single R50 range, the pre-registration cost will be $45 for adults, $20 for youth and $15 for cubs. The day of the event cost will be $55, $30 and $20.

BASEBALL

Bath Township: The annual Bath Baseball “Best of the Northwest” Youth Tournament is scheduled from June 9 to 11. This is a school team tournament (all players must be from the same school district). There will be a 12U, 10U and 8U coach pitch division. The cost will be $300 per team with a three-game guarantee. BASKETBALL

Elida: The Dakota Mathias Basketball Camp is scheduled June 29 and 30th in the Elida Fieldhouse. The camp is for boys and girls in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. All skill levels are welcome. Cost is $99. To register and for more information go to dakotamathias.com.

CORNHOLE

Lima: A fundraising tournament to offset the medical costs of Shawnee’s Jordan Banks and his family will be held starting at 10 a.m. June 10 at the Faurot Park sand volleyball court near the Red Cross. Cost per two-person team will be $40 with the tournament winners receiving $100. Registration closes June 5. GOLF

Lima: Ohio Golf Concepts, through Tamarac Golf Course, is offering boys and girls in grades six through eight a free eight session program from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Fridays from June 2 until July 28. Those interested should call Jim Maley at 419-331-0412. The program is limited to 40 participants.

HORSESHOES

Lima: The Allen County Horseshoe Pitchers, located at 1815 C St., have openings in leagues and doubles. Open doubles begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturdays. Cornhole leagues are forming. MOTORCYCLE RACING

RUNNING

Spencerville: The Spencerville Summerfest 5K Run is scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday, June 24, at Spencer Township Park. Register online by June 17 for $15 without buying a shirt and $25 with buying a shirt. After June 17, the cost will be $20 without buying a shirt. Online registration is available at RunSignUp.com/Race/OH/Spencerville/Summerfest5k. An entry form that can be printed out and results from past races can be found at spencervillerunning.weebly.com. Awards for the top male and female and the top three in each age group will be handed out. A 1 Mile Run will be held at 8:30 a.m. on race day for a $1 sign up. SUMMER CAMP

Lima: The Lima Family YMCA is offering a weekday camp for youngsters ages 6 to 12 from June 5 to Aug. 18. Planned activities include science, park visits, swimming, arts & crafts, games, nature walks and music. Cost for YMCA members is $95 per child and $110 for non-members. SWIMMING

Lima: New members are being accepted for the Lima Family YMCA’s Barracudas team for those ages 4 to 18. The Y also has a USA Swim Team which gives participants additional opportunities to compete at other Ohio venues. For more information contact April Dorman at 419-223-6045, extension 218.

TENNIS

Lima: The Lima Area Tennis Association, USTA and Lima Parks and Recreations Department will be holding summer camps for those ages 5 to 17 Mondays and Thursdays from June 5 to June 15 at the Collett Street Courts. The Pee Wee program for ages 5 to 8 will be from 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. and the Junior camp will be from 9:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Pre-registration will be held from 10 a.m. to noon May 19 and noon to 2 p.m. May 20 at Collett Street Courts or register online at playtennis.usta.com/limaareatennisassociation and click on camps where additional information is available or by emailing [email protected].

TRAPSHOOTING

Lima: The Lima Sabres have various shooting events. Thursday Trap Practice for Adults/Juniors/Beginners is 4 p.m. weekly. Adult Trap Practice is 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesdays, weather permitting.
