ARCHERY

Allen County: The Allen County Archers hold traditional 3-D shoots the third Saturday of the month all year long, weather permitting. They are open to all archery equipment. The Archers hold a “stump shoot” for traditional bows only the fourth Saturday of each month, weather permitting. BASEBALL

Lima: A Cleveland Guardians Roundtable will be held Wednesday at Westgate Entertainment Center. There will be a Q&A from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with featured speakers being radio announcer Jim Rosenhaus & senior vice president of marketing Bobby Dibiasio. Vince Koza’s wife, Holly, is also expected to attend. The roundtable is free and open to the public with complimentary light snacks and soft drinks along with prizes.

Bath Township: The annual Bath Baseball “Best of the Northwest” Youth Tournament is scheduled from June 9 to 11.

This is a school team tournament (all players must be from the same school district). There will be a 12U, 10U and 8U coach pitch division. The cost will be $300 per team with a three-game guarantee. To reserve a spot, contact Jason Atchison at 419-860-3454 or email [email protected]

 

BASKETBALL

Delphos: The 10th annual Jefferson Wildcat fourth, fifth and sixth grade girls tournament will be held Feb 25 and 26 at Delphos Jefferson Schools. There will be separate divisions for each grade level. Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of three games. Entry fee is $150. For more information, contact coach Doug Geary at 567-204-1524.

Bath Township: The 20th annual Bath girls fourth, fifth and sixth grade tournament will be held March 4 and 5 at Bath Schools. Entry fee is $175 per team. Contact Mike Frey at 419-234-2400 or [email protected] for more information and to enter.

Delphos: The 18th annual Wildcat third, fourth, fifth and sixth grade boys tournament to be held from March 10 to 12 at Delphos Jefferson Schools. Bath Township: There will be a fourth, fifth and sixth grade boys tournament for school teams only March 25 and 26 at Bath High School. Three games guaranteed. There will be a $3 adult spectator fee and a full concession stand will be available.

BOWLING

Lima: An Honor Flight fundraiser is scheduled for Saturdays Feb. 11 and 25 at 20th Century Lanes. There will be raffles, no tap, 50/50s and free shoe rental. Sessions will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Feb. 11 and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Feb. 11 and Feb. 25. Cost is $14 per person or $70 per lane for up to six participants and will include bowling, a 16-inch two-item pizza and a pitcher of pop. HALL OF FAME

Elida: The Elida Athletic Department will hold the 2023 Hall of Fame induction Feb. 4. The banquet will be held in the Elida Commons starting at 1 p.m.. The induction will take place at approximately 2:15 in the auditorium. Tickets for the banquet may be purchased in the athletic office during school hours or by contacting the athletic office at 419-338-6852. HIGH SCHOOLS

Lima: The Lima Senior High School Athletic Boosters will hold its annual Reverse Raffle on Saturday, March 25, at the American Legion Post 96, 711 S. Shore Drive. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner starting at 6 p.m. The first raffle ticket will be drawn at 6:30 p.m. This year’s reverse raffle payout is $5,000. There will also be a live auction, Spartan Auction and other games of chance. All non-winning grand prize tickets will be put in a drawing for a second-chance prize. Tickets are $100. The price includes entry and food for two people and one entry into the reverse raffle. Ticket holders do not need to be present to win. Tickets can be purchased online at tinyurl.com/548mamfw. HORSESHOES

Lima: The Allen County Horseshoe Pitchers, located at 1815 C St., have openings in leagues and doubles. Open doubles begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturdays. Corn hole leagues are forming. PICKLEBALL

Lima: Pickleball is played at Bradfield Center from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. All skill levels are welcome.

Lima: Pickleball is offered from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday at the Lima Family YMCA, 345 S. Elizabeth St.. Free for Y members and $7 per visit for non-members. Call 419-223-6045 for more information.

SOFTBALL

Lima: New members are being accepted for the Lima Family YMCA’s Barracudas team for those ages 4 to 18. The Y also has a USA Swim Team which gives participants additional opportunities to compete at other Ohio venues. For more information contact April Dorman at 419-223-6045, extension 218.

TRAPSHOOTING

Lima: The Lima Sabres have various shooting events. Thursday Trap Practice for Adults/Juniors/Beginners is 4 p.m. weekly. Adult Trap Practice is 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesdays, weather permitting.
