Girls basketball: Ottawa-Glandorf holds off Fort Loramie

FORT LORAMIE — Ottawa-Glandorf defeated previously unbeaten Fort Loramie 53-48 in girls high school basketball Saturday.

The Titans (11-2) withstood being outscored 21-14 in the fourth quarter by the Redskins (11-1).

Karsyn Erford and Kaelyn Grothause each had 12 points for O-G, which made four of 10 3-point attempts while preventing Fort Loramie from connecting from behind the arc. Grothause also had five steals.

Bluffton 44, Paulding 31

BLUFFTON — The host Pirates held a 14-2 lead at the end of the first quarter. Ayla Grandey had 19 points and Riley Eachus scored 12 for Bluffton.

ARLINGTON — Grace Pfau had 18 points and Chelsea Erford scored 13 for Miller City.

TOLEDO — Tiana Spivey had 19 points, 10 rebounds and six steals, Ayrianna Engberg scored eight and Amiyah Coleman finished with six rebounds for Lima Senior.

DOLA — Hardin Northern held an 18-5 advantage at the end of the first quarter. Katie Good had 18 points, Bella Wilson scored 15 and Emma Martin contributed eight points and nine rebounds for the Polar Bears.

ANNA — Chloe Homan had 10 points and Marina Nelson scored six for the visiting Cardinals.

Anthony Wayne 71, Shawnee 40

WHITEHOUSE — Gracie Freiberger had 23 points and Brynn Patterson scored six for Shawnee.

OTTOVILLE — The Big Green outscored the Wildcats 16-7 in the fourth quarter to earn the victory. Isabelle Furley had 13 points and Erica Thorbahn scored 11 for Ottoville. Lilly Barhorst had 12 points and Addi Inskeep scored six for Minster.

FORT JENNINGS — Maggie Pothast had 18 points and Rachel Von Sossan scored 13 for the host Musketeers. Maddie Rutschilling scored six for P-G.

Leipsic 60, North Central 29

PIONEER — Whitney Langhals had 19 points and five steals and Kyrsten Martinez scored 14 for the Vikings, who were ahead 15-2 at the end of the first quarter.
