Roundup: Lima area boys hoops teams start seasons

Several Lima area boys basketball teams tipped off the season Friday night.

Paulding 70, Continental 48

CONTINENTAL — Konner Knipp-Williams had 15 points and Carson Etter and Mason Rayle each score eight for the host Pirates.

Delphos Jefferson 30,

Wapakoneta 25

DELPHOS — Isaac Gallmeier, Andrew Miller and Levi Rode each had seven points for Jefferson. Jackson Courter and Cash Schadl each scored nine for Wapak.

Liberty-Benton 60,

Hardin Northern 38

DOLA — Zeb Wilson had 11 points and Xander Wilson scored eight for Hardin Northern.

Arlington 61,

Fort Jennings 38

FORT JENNINGS — Jarron Swick had 12 ponts and Ian Howbert scored seven for the host Musketeers.

Spencerville 72,

St. Henry 66

SPENCERVILLE — Josh Henline (18), Evan Osting (17), Dylan Smith (11) and Owen Sensabaugh (15) each scored in double digits for the host Bearcats. Evan Bowers had 24 points and Luke Beyke scored 23 for St. Henry.

Ada 60, Ridgemont 47

MT. VICTORY — Ethan Murphy had 23 points and Jaden Bankston scored 13 for Ada. Colton Bailey had 10 points to lead Ridgemont.

Upper Scioto Valley 50, Lincolnview 34

MCGUFFEY — Alex Sanders had 27 points and Drew Stephens scored 10 for USV. Austin Bockrath had nine points for Lincolnview.

Lima Central Catholic 26

COLDWATER — Riley Rismiller had 20 points and Becca Wenning scored 12 for the Cavaliers. Oliva Stolley led LCC with 12 points.

Ottawa-Glandorf 46,

Kalida 40

KALIDA — Katie Kaufman had 12 poitns and Maggie Verhoff scored 10 for O-G. Camille Hovest led Kalida with nine points.
