Shawnee moved to 8-0 in the Western Buckeye League and clinched at least a share of the regular season championship.

Shawnee singles players Alora Patel, Ava Patel and Rose Kottapolli and the Wapak doubles teams of Brooke Minnig and Kierra Siefring and Abigail Hamill and Jenna Kohler all won.

Celina singles players Michelle Elston, Lauren Muhlenkamp and Kayliann Howell and the Elida doubles teams of Valory Ta and Julia Korzan and Abby Campbell and Mya Long all won.

BLUFFTON — Van Buren and host Bluffton will be playing a 7 p.m. game Tuesday at Steinmetz Field in honor of Bluffton Police Officer Dominic Francis, who was killed in the line of duty March 31.

Each team will be wearing a commemorative jersey for the game with proceeds going toward a permanent Fallen Officers Memorial at the Bluffton Police Department.
