COLUMBUS GROVE — Winning pitcher Thad Ringwald threw seven innings, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out eight, as Spencerville defeated Columbus Grove 3-0 Wednesday in baseball.

PERRY TOWNSHIP — Reid Spencer had three hits and scored four runs and Brent Wilson had two doubles for Allen East.

Delphos Jefferson 1

DELPHOS — Winning pitcher Noah Adcock threw seven innings, allowing no earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out three. Owen Anderson had two hits and an RBI and Austin Morrison and Cade Parker had two hits each for Elida. Easton Siefker had two hits and an RBI for Jefferson.

LCC 9, Ottoville 4

LIMA — Ethan O’Connor and Joey Watkins each doubled for Lima Central Catholic.

TOLEDO — Josiah Shoemaker had two hits for the Spartans.

Bluffton 13,

Fort Jennings 5

BLUFFTON — Bowden had three hits and four RBI, Brice Rayle had two hits and two RBI, and Dakota Bricker had two hits and an RBI each for Bluffton. Brandon Wehri had two hits and two RBI for Fort Jennings.

Delphos Jefferson 4,

Lincolnview 3

DELPHOS — Gage Mercer scored the winning run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the seventh after Jace Stockwell tied the game by knocking in two runs with two outs in the inning Tuesday.

COLUMBUS GROVE — Kyrah Yinger had three hits, including two triples, and Grace Schroeder had two hits for the host Bulldogs. Kara May had two hits, including a homer, and Julie Muholland and Madison Kline had two hits each for Spencerville.

Shawnee 7, LCC 2

LIMA — Hannah Martin and Laken George had two hits each for Shawnee. Abby Tabler and Sam Judy had two hits each for Lima Central Catholic.

Bluffton 6, Elida 2

BLUFFTON — Abbie Parkins had two hits, including a homer, and Alivia Koenig had two hits for Bluffton. Skylar Hurst had two hits and an RBI and Michaela Black had two hits for Elida.

Continental 8,

Kalida 1

CONTINENTAL — Winning pitcher Amber Logan threw seven innings, allowing no earned runs, two hits and no walks while striking out nine. Logan also had two hits. Teammate Alex Quigley had two hits, including a homer, and three RBI.

Allen East 7,

Perry 4

PERRY TOWNSHIP — Alexis McCluer had two hits and two RBI and Riley Newland and Summer McCloskey had two hits each for Allen East. Kelsey Wells doubled for Perry.

Kalida signings

KALIDA — Kalida had three athletes sign college letter of intents Wednesday. Brady Laudick will be going to the University of Toledo to play baseball, Austin Swift is headed to Indiana Wesleyan University for baseball and Katelyn Siebeneck will be running cross country and track and field for Bluffton University.

Swift was named the Putnam County League pitcher of the year and Laudick earned second team all-PCL honors in 2015. Siebeneck advanced to the Division III regional in cross country in 2015.

Boys tennis

LCC 3, Bath 2

LIMA — Singles players Spencer Collins, Ben Brinkman and Logan Korzan won for LCC. The doubles teams of Ian Younts/Bryce Hinegardner and Collin Walker/Caden Schmidt won for Bath.

LIMA — Shannon Conway had three hits, including a home run, and three RBI, Joe Schmook had two hits and Austin Thomas had two doubles for the Barons.
