Could I ask a question? When is Lima’s TV station going to get reporters and on-air personalities that know what they’re doing? When will these supposed reporters go out and actually get a story that has some meaning to Lima?

Tell me, what does a story about a goat farm in Wisconsin, which they ran three to four times in the past week, feeding them Christmas trees have to do with Lima? You would think that a news department would be on the lookout for local stories. Sometimes, their newscasts seemingly feel like all they did was pick stories off the internet instead of going out and getting local stories.

They have stories of the most mundane things. They’re supposed to be professionals, but I’m beginning to wonder. Come on WLIO, raise your standards a bit and get good quality people in there that know what it is to be a reporter/anchor. Do a job, and do it right and with heart. Show you care. In my opinion, if you don’t, the good reporters and anchors will leave, as some already have.
