Letter: Yes, Lima’s a friendly city

In Lima recently, the kindness of several people surely helped “make my day.”

I was treated with extra consideration and patience during a visit to my doctor’s office. Next was a stop at a pharmacy where I was able to get a Covid booster injection even though I didn’t have an appointment.

At the Kewpee the lady in front of me paid for my lunch.

By the time I did some shopping, the weather became cold and windy. I stopped to get gas, had paid for it and was ready to fill the tank when the gentleman behind me told me to get in my car and he would take care of the rest. I did that gladly.

Thanks to all of these people who were so thoughtful and helpful. The day felt special.
