Letter: No shortage of fools

Steve Bannon, former trump campaign chairman, has been arrested. Along with his cohorts, Bannon is accused of operating a fake charity, whereby donors gave money in order to fund the building of a section of the southern border wall. Bannon and others are accused of spending the money on vacations, luxury motor vehicles, jewelry and various other personal expenses.

I find this amusing for several reasons. Why would anyone who graduated kindergarten donate to anyone who worked for Donald Trump. As the saying goes, “You are judged by the company you keep.” Why donate at all, as the Mexicans are going to pay for the wall, according to Trump.

P.T. Barnum said, “There is a sucker born every minute.” Bannon knows it, but apparently, there is no shortage of fools who did not get the memo.
