I have read with interests the discussions between Messers. Glenn and Jones about the 6th Ward. I don’t understand why two leaders serving in different capacities cannot compromise and work together for the betterment of their community.
Each candidate has resources that overlap each other but remain sanctioned in their designated area. Why can’t they pull their resources and acumen together and make the 6th Ward the type of environment that everyone desires. There is a lot work to be done with the youth, education, violence, environment improvement, etc. that cannot be solved by one person.
We believe the old adage, “ It takes a village to raise a child,” but we forget that one person cannot raise a village.
The 6th Ward needs leadership and collaboration and Messers. Glenn and Jones, you could be the beginning of a new type of leadership in Lima.
