Letter: Not all women consider him a star

Watching the TV news lately I noticed there certainly are a lot of men in local courtrooms accused of rape.

A couple of defense attorneys used the argument that their client’s rights were violated. The rest of the defendants pled innocent or took a plea deal.

What was puzzling to me is not one used the defense our supreme leader utilized. When accused of rape he said “I don’t know her. I’ve never met her.” Doesn’t have the same ring as not guilty, does it?

Along those same lines, when accused of sexual assault of one woman, he said, “Look at her. She would not be my first choice I can tell you that.”

I may be wrong, but I believe an ugly woman has the same anatomy he says he likes to grab as a beautiful one. But as the saying goes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

With all these accusers coming forward one thing has become painfully obvious; not all women consider him a star.
