Letter: Words cannot express gratitude


The family of Darren Langhals wishes to express our sincere thanks to all those who supported our family in any way during the past few weeks.

We would like to thank the first responders who arrived on the scene of the accident: Cairo EMS, Bath Heavy Rescue, Allen County Sheriff’s Department, Mercy Health Life Flight, the Allen County Coroner, and anyone we may have missed.

Thank you to those that assisted at his funeral Mass: Father David Ritchie, Monsignor Sigler, Father Tom Extejt, Father Paul, Father Charles, Jean Kohls, Darcy & Drew Smith and the Mass servers.

Thank you to Hartman Funeral Home for your utmost care and attention to detail. Thank you to our St. Anthony church family for your prayers and kind words.

Thank you to the CRHP ladies who prepared the most delicious funeral luncheon we could possibly ask for.

Thank you to Town & Country Flowers for preparing the beautiful floral arrangements.

Thank you to the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist for your presence. Thank you to those that brought meals, groceries, paper products, etc for our family: Pizzeria, Rowdy Rooster Cafe, and our dear family and friends who brought an endless supply of food, drinks and love.

Thank you to our Colonial family for adopting our family as your own. Thank you all for your prayers, cards, kind words and gifts. Our mailbox has overflowed.

Words cannot adequately express our sincere gratitude and overwhelming appreciation for your kindness, love and support. Please know our family will be praying for you all. Love to you!
