Letter: Global warming a global problem

Charles McConnell, President Obama’s Department of Energy assistant secretary stated, “All of the US annual emissions in 2025 will be offset by 3 weeks of Chinese emissions.”

“Three Weeks!”

In less than 6 years, China will produce 17 times more emissions per year than the United States. India also is building more coal plants. What industrialized nation, besides the U.S., has continued to reduce their emissions? Even though the climate temperatures are cooling, many still believe in global warming. If you are one who does, remember that global warming, by any other name, is still global.
