Letter: Lonely death a terrible things

My brother recently passed away: amputated leg, stroke, heart attack, septic and organ failure, then death.

However, that is not what killed him

There is nothing worse than the amputated spirit. The loneliness and poverty that the elderly suffer everyday. Elderly in their homes barely surviving while their children do not care enough to make sure they have a reason to live or money for their needs.

It is a shame to have elederly in nursing homes where few come to visit or when they do it is 10 minutes and then on with their wonderful life.
