Let’s look at the RTA tax levy in a common sense and compassionate way.
Working retail I personally have witnessed elderly and low-income individuals in the north and east end get off the bus to get needed essentials and then wait for the next bus to journey home. There are also people relying on the RTA to get them to their dialysis treatments at the local hospitals. School children use the service and you can bet it will be needed when Rhodes State puts campus downtown.
Let’s try to keep Lima built up and positive. Those people against the levy may find themselves at some point in their life needing the levy.
Vote yes for keeping the RTA.
