I saw a disturbing incident near the Brower Road apartments recently when picking up my children for school.
One of the parents had a problem with her car. It quit running. The child got out and walked to the bus stop. The car sat there.
Car after car drove by. No one stopped or asked what’s wrong or if she needed help. The car was nice looking, not a piece of junk. Oh yeah, the woman was black.
My son tried to push her car. Thankfully, a man finally stopped and helped my son push her car out of the way.
Is Lima returning to the racial discrimination days? I hope not.
