Letter: Rules for help black and white

I am a black inmate at the Allen County jail with a crack cocaine addiction. I recently requested an order for Drug Court from Lima Municipal Court. I was denied.

Many inmates here believe it is because my drug of choice isn’t heroin. The heroin epidemic has hit the white connunity at large. Thus the scrambling for new solutions in the laws that govern our state. So while my crack addiction goes untreated, the white community fights hard to save its children from prison and themselves.
