Letter: Equestrian Therapy grateful for help

On Oct. 20, The Equestrian Therapy Program held its 25th annual Ride-A-Thon/Pumpkin Festival at Fassett Farm. The day was a huge success thanks to the countless hours of preparation and hard work by the staff, volunteers, riders and their families and, of course our horses.

Mega thanks go to our Platinum Sponsors: CCR Realtors, Lima Memorial Health System, The Kewpee, Mercy Health-St. Ritas, Nutrien, Huber & Associates, Lima Ford Motor Company, Dr. William Lauf. Auglaize Dental Associates and Emerson Climate Technologies. A special thank you to the UNOH High Performance Team for making the day extra special and to all of our sponsors, board members, individuals and businesses for their support and all who donated auction items.

Once again, our friends at the Husky Action Club made sure the participants and visitors were well fed, providing a wonderful lunch for all. We also thank our Hometown Stations for their event coverage, Rhodes State College PTA Department, and Allen County REACT for their valued help.

The support of the people of Lima and the surrounding communities is truly heartwarming. Because of your generosity, The ET Program is celebrating its 35th year of providing equine facilitated therapies and activities to over eighty riders each week.

Thank you so much to all who came to the farm, enjoyed the wonderful day and helped us make this such a successful event. Your generosity positively impacts so many lives in our community and is deeply appreciated.
