Regarding a recent post-election quote from a Republican Congressman (and I am sure there are similar quotes from Democrats): “… a few fundamental questions: Why did Republicans lose the House majority? What’s the lay of the land in the next Congress? What do we have to do — what changes were necessary — to win the House back?”
It would be nice if our elected officials would do the job we sent them there to do instead of just concentrating on how to win the next election and stay on the government payroll.
The American public would appreciate some concentration on America’s problems instead of just perpetual election strategies.
