Letter: Best lunch I ever ate

While waiting to pay for my order at the Kewpee, a gentleman approached the register and I motioned him to step in front of me. Instead of expressing a need, he announced that he would be paying for my lunch. I protested, but he insisted, stating his father also served our country, and in his dad’s honor, would be paying for my lunch.

His actions were witnessed by his young Spider-Man son, who I am sure will grow to follow the example of the kindness and compassion expressed by his dad.

Blessings on you and you and your family. And may God Bless America.
