Letter: Slow down before someone gets hurt

To the woman speeding in. a neighborhood in Northland on Saturday, Aug. 10:

There are multiple children and animals back here, yet you chose to drive too fast . You never know when a child or animal will dart out in front of your car and be maimed or killed, yet you had a child in the backseat of your car. Think about how that child would have been affected if you maimed or killed a child or animal while zooming down the street! That image would be ingrained in that child’s head forever, and would be emotionally scarred.

You would not want someone zooming super fast down your street and your grandchild be maimed or killed, so give everyone that same courtesy.
