Letter: Trump, Jordan have it right

There have been a lot of letters to the editor written lately by those suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome and Jim Jordan Anxiety Attacks. These pitiful, liberal progressives continue to try swaying public opinion toward their myopic socialist/communist viewpoint of more government control even though the economy and stock market are booming and unemployment is down under this current conservative, capitalistic administration.

The consequences of socialism vary based on their degree and kind, but they have similarities: high costs, resource waste, low growth, and lack of incentives. Capitalism increases efficiency over time as firms respond to new consumer preferences. Black markets decrease, because there are no restrictions on types of business. Additionally, capitalism increases production, subsequently increasing the wealth of the nation. Decreasing taxes on businesses and individuals allows both to invest more. Trump, having vast business experience, understands that concept. Evidently, those suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome and Jim Jordan Anxiety Attacks are rendered helpless in trying to understand the free-market capitalist system.

Their illnesses, if left untreated, may eventually rob us of our personal freedoms and permanently place everyone on the government dole.
