Letter: Safe place for teens

We all want to see positive change happen, but often get stuck in the place of thermometer and not thermostat. One states the temperature and the other changes it.

On behalf of Rally Point Youth Center, I would like to thank the many organizations and businesses that have been changing the climate in Lima through the support of our organization and our main fundraiser: the River Ride. Because of our sponsors’ influence, Rally Point is able to consistently offer Lima teens a safe place to be, surrounded by caring Christian adults!

The River Ride will take place Saturday. Registration begins at 7 a.m. at Heritage Park on Reed Road in Shawnee Township.

Ride times: 7 to 9 a.m. for the 50- and 62.5-mile ride; 9 a.m.. to 11 a.m. for the 10- and 20-mile ride.

For more information please visit rallyup.org, and please support our sponsors. They are listed on the Web page.
