Letter: Many helped with car show’s success

I would like to thank everyone who helped us make the 10th Charity Car Show such a successful event, especially Jenny Holtsberry and Merri Hanjora at The Lima News for their work on the wonderful ads and stories for the car show.

A special thanks to Hometown Stations for promoting this event and to Lima Chevrolet Cadillac for providing us with a great venue for the past three years.

Thank you also to our major contributors: Lima Pallet/Tracy Sanchez, The Cheap Sign Company, O’Reilly’s Auto Parts for providing the trophies and Westgate Entertainment Center for the nice appreciation dinner.

Thank you to everyone who worked parking cars, selling 50/50 tickets, our food vendors and entertainment. We would like to also thank the Lima Vietnam Veterans Chapter 89 for providing the color guard and posting the colors, the Marine Corp League, The American Legion and the Chained Eagles for bringing the Ohio Vietnam Wall Memorial and to Jeff Davis for singing the National Anthem.

Andy Maravola, Lima
