Letter: Family appreciates respect by workers

Unfortunately, a few weeks ago our family lost my father. On the day of his funeral, we were traveling down Main Street in Lima, and there was a construction company working on the corner of Main and Spring.

When we approached, two gentlemen stopped working and removed their hats as we drove by. The one even got out of the skid loader to do so.

That gesture meant a lot to me and my family. I stopped by to thank them later, but they were gone. I was told that their names were Brian P. and Austin K. I’m really hoping that they see this and know much that meant to my family.
