Letter: Grateful for the helpers when husband passed out

My husband and I, who are both seniors, were in a checkout lane at Walmart’s eastside Lima location on March 2 when he passed out. I grabbed him to keep him from falling and hitting his head on the floor.

A very nice young woman came up and asked if she could call 911 and stayed on the phone with the dispatcher. A young man also came to our aid. I would like to thank you both for your kindness and concern. I don’t remember if I did then. Also, thanks to anyone else who helped on that day.

Bev, the checkout lady, thank you also.
