Letter: Reich’s rewritten history shows he’s a Democratic hack

Well, it appears that The Lima News has found the liberal, socialist, Democrat hack it has been looking for. We are now being subjected weekly to columns in “Their View” by Robert B. Reich, veteran of the Clinton administration. This man who supports a basic living stipend for everyone in our country and various other half-baked Socialist schemes is up to the usual Democrat practice of rewriting history to reflect his view of past events.

In a recent column, he manages to suggest that President Donald Trump asking Zelenskyy for information about Hunter Biden is actually worse than President Joe Biden blackmailing the Ukrainians by holding up a billion dollars in aid if they did not fire the prosecutor who was investigating Hunter and the company he was working for.

He then goes on to praise Biden while totally ignoring the fact that the Russians most likely would not have invaded had Biden not shown weakness and ineptness in his handling of the withdrawal from Afghanistan and his response to a possible invasion of Ukraine.

It took Reich three long columns to continue his praise of the aged and most likely senile president this country has ever had the bad luck to suffer under, a president who actually makes Jimmy Carter look good.

By the way, Reich thinks that Ron DeSantis would make a terrible president. That alone should tell readers where his overeducated head is. I would hate to see what Reich would write about how Pothole Pete handled the train derailment in East Palestine.
