Letter: Gender issues bring plethora of millstones

In Luke’s Gospel (17:2), Jesus is quoted as saying, “It would be better for a person to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around his neck than to cause one of these little ones to sin.”

How many millstones is it going to take? How many for those encouraging children to deny their birth gender? How many for those who support and encourage a mother to abort her unborn (and even in some cases newborn) child? How many for those people who glamorize “drag queen” performances, especially in public school settings?

In Deuteronomy 22:5, God states, “A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing for the Lord detests anyone who does this.”

How many millstones for those who espouse the idea of young children making life-changing decisions without their parents’ knowledge?

Yes, there’d better be a lot of millstones available for all those who are attempting to “cause these little ones to sin”!
