Court took our votes away

Tim Ludwig, Lima

What a difference a day makes.

It was just a little over a day when I was singing praises to the Supreme Court for upholding the Affordable Care Act. And now I’m seething mad at five Supreme Court justices who not only took my vote away, but thousands of other Ohioans by letting same-sex marriages take place.

How disgusting.

Shame on you justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Anthony Kennedy. The state of Ohio made a statement that marriage is between a man and a woman only. All of you had no right to take my vote away.

I’m no expert on the Bible, but I always hear a phrase at a wedding that a man takes a wife. Not another man.

Same-sex marriages are morally wrong. I will not, under any circumstances, recognize their marriage.

And just to show that I mean what I say, I have a first blood cousin that swings from the other side of the tree. I have a hard time with his lifestyle. Now, he’s family and I respect him, but no way will I respect his lifestyle.

I don’t believe in same-sex relationships. All of the Ohio voters need to contact our attorney general and find out what all of us can do to get our vote back.

Once again, shame on you Supreme Court and thank you not for taking my vote away.
