After having not even completed one year in office, Joe Biden has proven that he is the worst president in U.S. history. This likely makes former President Jimmy Carter the happiest man in the world, since he previously held the distinction.

While Carter made a mess of the country, it took him far longer than “Brandon” to accomplish the act. More importantly, unlike Biden, his intent was not to purposely destroy our institutions, undermine our capitalist system or use race to divide us.

Yet the primary difference between Carter and Biden can be seen in their character. Jimmy was a decent, spiritually-driven, humble Southern gentleman. Joe is a career politician long noted for fabricating tales to make up for his lack of accomplishments after 40 years in government.

For instance, this past July, Biden told Mack Trucks workers in Pennsylvania that I “used to drive an 18-wheeler, man.” He later amended the statement to “got to” drive an 18-wheeler. Yet the truth is that the closest he got to driving a semi truck was as a passenger back in 1973 after being elected as a freshman senator from Delaware. Biden did once have a summer job driving a school bus. That’s the honest truth, man!

Then there’s Biden’s boast, while hosting the World Champion Los Angeles Dodgers at the White House, that he once hit a 368-foot drive off the outfield wall during a Congressional baseball game at RFK Stadium. There’s just one little problem. Accounts from the game actually show he went 0-for-2, although a little detail never stopped Joe Biden.

During his basement-dwelling 2020 presidential campaign, Joe popped his head out long enough to claim on multiple occasions that he had been arrested in South Africa for trying to visit Nelson Mandela in prison. This also turned out to be untrue but did not deter Biden from imagining he was also arrested on other occasions when he wasn’t.

These include his contention that, as a college student, he was arrested at Ohio University for trying to enter a female dormitory and that he was detained by Capitol Hill Police after improperly entering the U.S. Senate.

Still, this is but a small sampling of Joe’s exploits.

He has also put himself in harm’s way for his country. During the 2020 primary season, Biden spoke of a dangerous journey he made to Afghanistan (before he rolled out his thoughtful evacuation of Kabul) while vice president in order to award the Silver Star to a Navy captain who gallantly retrieved the body of a fallen comrade. Later, the captain reportedly refused the honor since the serviceman died. In truth, it was later determined that good old Joe had combined several different events into one convenient story, and notably the Navy captain was awarded by President Obama. The question is, has anybody told Biden?

Back in 1987 during his ill-conceived presidential run, Joe regaled the media with stories of how he marched during the 1960s’ civil rights movement, except he didn’t. He also embellished his academic accomplishments, claiming he graduated with “three degrees from undergraduate school” and finished “in the top half” of his Syracuse University law class. Again, untrue, with Biden actually finishing 76th in a class of 85 law students.

Then there are his multitude of mistruths on COVID-19. Before he ever took office, Joe said, “I am not going to shut down the economy. I’m going to shut down the virus.” How’s that gone? Since then, he’s made a multitude of misstatements to include, “If you’re vaccinated, you’re not going to be hospitalized, go to the ICU or die.” And, “You’re not going to get COVID if you have the vaccinations.” The only question is, was Joe wearing a mask during these pronouncements?

The examples go on and on with “Lyin’ Biden.” And the media just ignores them.

But one thing about Joe; he continues to cover all the bases when it comes to the news. With each passing day, his White House comes up with new ways to diminish America’s greatness, his cognitive decline is displayed in new and fascinating ways, and he just says the darnedest things; which at least sound good even if they aren’t true.

Oh, and he makes Jimmy Carter smile too.
