In December, 2020, president-elect Biden said he favored neither mandatory coronavirus vaccines, nor masks. In May, he stated, “If you’re vaccinated, you don’t need to wear a mask. But since the first day of his presidency, Biden has presented a puzzling image by wearing a mask (which some compare to using a chain-link fence to stop a marble) despite his being vaccinated.
Now, his constant admonitions and public shaming of those not inoculated ignores increasing evidence that natural immunity offers the best protection against COVID.
Prior to his unfolding Afghan fiasco, Biden also determined that all federal workers would be required to get the vaccine or face mandatory masking and testing. Nevermind that the Cleveland Clinic too has said that vaccination is unnecessary for those who previously contracted the virus since they have the antibodies necessary to combat it. Or better yet that people have HIPPA protections and should determine what is injected into their bodies.
Though Biden won’t take no for an answer, nor will his allies who are further ramping up the rhetoric.
A New York City news anchor says those who are unvaccinated should be forced to wear a warning sign. Obama HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius recently compared the non-vaccinated to drunk drivers and believes the vaccination should be required for employment. Then a CNN executive’s email was uncovered which complained that “the carrot is no longer going to work.” These are but a few of the voices calling for a “stick” to push the vaccine.
While government, academia and corporations casually implement their vaccine requirements in lieu of banishment or legal removal, public schools continue to push inoculations and mandatory mask-wearing for students. And despite the Delta variant offering more challenges than the initial virus, it remains less contagious than chicken pox. Further, according to the CDC, only 331 COVID deaths have occurred among those under the age of 18, with the flu claiming approximately 200 such victims since 2019.
Adding further perspective, over 2,000 kids died in car crashes in 2019 and approximately 1,000 drowned. None of this is meant to diminish any death, but to acknowledge that the virus still represents a small threat to our youth. And mandating masks for kids as young as kindergarten presents more health hazards from bacteria, increased anxiety, and stunted socialization.
Amidst all this madness, there is the continuing impact of illegal immigration on the rate of virus spread. U.S. Health Law Section 262 Title 42 “prohibits entry into the United States when the Director for Disease Control believes ‘there is a serious danger to the introduction of (a communicable) disease into the United States.” If indeed COVID is our greatest threat next to climate change, when will the CDC secure our southern border?
We know that nearly all those illegally entering the U.S. are non-vaccinated and that many have tested positive for COVID, even as they are shuttled to unsuspecting local communities. In fact, positive tests rose by 900% in the first two weeks of July. Is it just mere coincidence then that as this human, unmasked influx grows, the rising rate of the delta variant is completely ignored by a cowardly, severely-impaired president and complicit media who prefer to demonize those looking for credible leadership and reasoned thought when it comes to their health?
And speaking of indifference, what are we to make of Nancy Pelosi’s recent $30,000 a plate fundraiser featuring unmasked guests or Barack Obama’s “COVID-safe” 60th birthday bash at his posh Martha’s Vineyard estate; where many of the 200 high-rollers in attendance disdained masks and social distancing in favor of imbibing and lots of poor dancing?
While our ruling elite live by the adage of “rules for thee, but not for me,” a health official recommends vaccinated parents mask up at home around their kids and Biden proposes that foreign visitors to the U.S. prove their vaccine status as our border is overrun. All confirming the necessity for defiance of intrusive governmental dictates in the face of constant fear-mongering.
Ben Franklin said, “They who give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” Will we continue to accept an “endless” pandemic to promote the great authoritarian reset, or finally say enough is enough? History will record who blinks first.
