In the tightly controlled reality of Joe Biden, the man who supposedly calls the shots for the free world practices his own cancel culture. This was perfectly exemplified by his recent decision to quietly eliminate the Garden of American Heroes project which Donald Trump authorized via executive order in the final days of his presidency. Biden’s act speaks volumes about what he is truly about and confirms that he is no moderate.

The heroes concept was completely non-partisan; a sculpture garden intended to honor an assortment of 244 varied American heroes through the ages. Among those it included were Columbus, Muhammad Ali, Neil Armstrong, Alexander Graham Bell, Lincoln, Sitting Bull, MLK, Elvis, Mark Twain, George Washington. JFK, FDR, Frederick Douglas. Even Justice Ginsburg.

Yet this was too much to bear for Joe Biden since it was created to reverse the narrative associated with the senseless destruction and vandalization of American monuments and statues following the death of George Floyd. Perhaps there was also some offense taken as Biden’s own image didn’t quite measure up for inclusion.

And to drive the point home even further, Trump’s very executive order announcing the project was completely deleted from the White House website. Biden even went a step further with his new executive order in rescinding Trump’s pursuance of harsher criminal sentences for those who vandalize and destroy statues and monuments.

In Biden’s bizzarro world, America has no heroes worth honoring. The perceived achievements of those deemed exceptional are secondary to the misery that has been doled out by the United States since its imperfect founding. It matters not that many of the 244 individuals have been commonly held up by those on the left. This is the new and improved America.

Is there a more perfect way to further divide a citizenry than to erase the extensive and diverse contributions made by those who made America great? At present, there are but two groups of Americans: oppressors and victims. All else is immaterial and unacceptable and cannot be allowed the spotlight.

In the meantime, faith in our nation’s institutions grows more faint with each passing day. Where Ronald Reagan once characterized America as a “shining city on a hill” in his 1980 election eve address, Joe Biden’s daily tear-down of the United States has inspired Russian and Chinese government officials to brazenly criticize us publicly in the same fashion.

While it took Jimmy Carter a mere four years to bring America to its knees before Reagan came riding to the rescue, Joe Biden has perfected the art of destroying everything in his path in less than six months. At this rate, Carter can rest assured that he will no longer go down as the worst president in history.

Even as this becomes increasingly obvious to the man on the street, the only thing up for debate is whether Biden has the intellectual capacity to grasp this simple concept. All the rest of us can do is to pray there is still something left to save by the mid-term election.
