Letter: Make a choice to not be angry

What a mess we are in. Many of us have chosen to not just disagree with others, but to carry around hate for them. And it is a choice.

Why have we let differences of opinion divide our country? At times, my opinion about anything may be correct, but other times it may be wrong. This is true for everyone. Do we want to be upset and angry all of the time? It is a choice.

Can we imagine how a young person of color feels if they would like to go into law enforcement? Talk about being between a rock and a hard place,

Can we imagine how a child with an immune disorder feels when those they are around people who refuse to wear a mask?

These are just two examples of how our compassion and caring can make a difference. Remember: We have choices.
