Letter: Enter at your own risk

It’s pretty bad when you enter a hospital and those clean home-made N95 masks are within inches of the hazardous waist laundry bag where used ones are placed.

When I reported this issue to the Allen County Health Department they showed no concern as Lima Memorial Hospital does not fall within its jurisdiction.

Once you receive your mask you are directed to the patient registration desk where you must sign a release of liability paper. There should be a sign on the door which states enter at your own risk. This is what great health-care looks like.
