Letter: Blood drives need support


I had not donated blood for several years. With the current COVID-19 pandemic, at 78 years old, I felt a need to make a donation myself. I have found a number of changes that are currently in place. To begin with, they are no-longer receiving walk-in donors. A person must make an appointment by phone or on-line. The procedure is really quite simple. By making this contact, a time and date can be given according to your zip code.
