I recently read a letter to the editor from a very ignorant person about people on disability.
One has to qualify for disability. The government doesn’t just hand it out.
I now have neuropathy in 75% of my body, from my mid-torso all the way down to my feet. I wonder each morning if my legs are going to hold me up. I live in constant pain — thanks to medical neglect, not me.
So don’t assume people on disability get paid to sit at home. They cannot help what life gave them. They would love to be healthy.
The ignorant person only cares about herself and always has. Don’t be like her.
