I am a single woman who owns a cat, and I am also college-educated and supported myself by working in several careers. Some of these included being an international flight attendant for 20 years, a newspaper journalist/columnist and as an intervention specialist in two different schools.
Despite the fact that I never had a spouse or children, I believe my life was meaningful and productive.
I am also very interested in current politics and look forward to casting my vote in November. However, I won’t be voting for the side that denigrates single women with cats.
