Refinancing saves Perry schools taxpayers

PERRY TOWNSHIP — Recently, the Perry Local School District refunded the outstanding $1,405,000 and $7,195,000 of General Obligation School Facilities Construction & Improvement Refunding Bonds, issued originally in 2010 and 2014 respectively.

The completed refinancing saved the district’s taxpayers approximately $3.3 million, or about 30% of the refunding amount.
