Kiwanis student clubs, advisers recognized

LIMA — Several Kiwanis student clubs and advisers in the Lima City Schools have been recognized by Kiwanis International.

The following clubs were named Distinguished Clubs: Heritage Elementary K-Kids, Freedom Elementary K-Kids, Independence Elementary K-Kids, Unity Elementary K-Kids, South Science and Technology Magnet Builders Club, North Middle School Builders Club and West Middle School Builders Club.

The following were named Distinguished advisers: Angela Meyer (Freedom), Crystal Miller (Heritage), Robert Day (Lima Kiwanis member who works with Heritage club), Angela Jolliff (West) and Rachael Lesko (West).

The students clubs are affiliated with the Lima Kiwanis Club.
