Elida schools receives research grant


ELIDA — Elida schools received a $265,045 grant from to Ohio Department of Education to “implement sustainable evidence-based instructional strategies aligned with the district’s academic goals.”

Working with the Marzano Research Institute, the funds will provide professional learning opportunities for leaders, teachers and staff.

“We are excited to receive these funds, which will allow us to work with one of the top research institutes in education. This is a great opportunity for our district,” Elida Superintendent Joel Mengerink said in a press release.
