Elida students to learn about reality of adulthood

ELIDA — On Friday, May 17th, Elida eighth-grade students will be participating in a program titled “Real World, Real Money.”

In this money management lesson, students will be working through a simulation of living as a 25-year-old adult and will be assigned jobs and families, and will learn to balance their budget to live a month in the life of an adult.

This challenge engages the students and allows them to see what it may be like after high school and/or college and to experience what their parents go through to provide for them on a monthly basis.
